The other day we did a workout where we didn't show athletes the clock and BOY did it freak people out! In workouts, we see athletes glancing up at that clock constantly, wasting precious seconds that could be used for doing more work. THIS is different that using the clock for your benefit, like during the benchmark workout "Cindy," many people turn that long 20 minute workout into an EMOM to create the perfect amount of rest to work ratio! But if you're staring at that clock hoping that time will slow down or give you answers...it never will!
