201215 - Recipe Tuesday - "Egg White Avocado French Toast"

This isn’t really a recipe as much as it is a fantastic idea for a HIGH PROTEIN and easy breakfast option. When I asked “What’s your go-to breakfast?” as the question of the day last week, lots of people answered toast… but with no good source of protein involved in the dish! We need protein to keep us full, build muscles, and fuel our tough workouts! So let’s punch up our toast with this idea:

”EGG WHITE AVOCADO FRENCH TOAST”

INGREDIENTS

1 Slice of “Dave’s Killer Bread”
Carton of Egg Whites
Single Serve Guac Cup
Optional Toppings: Fried Egg, Micro Greens, Everything But the Bagel Seasoning, Sriracha, Chicken Sausage, Roast Beef, Sliced Tomatoes, prosciutto , Smoked Salmon, Garlic Salt, or Balsamic Glaze drizzle.

DIRECTIONS
1)
Place bread on plate and pour 1/2 cup of egg whites on top and let it soak into the bread. (You can mix salt, pepper, and garlic powder with the egg to add extra flavor)
2) In an airfryer for 350 degrees for 6 minutes or in a skillet with a little butter to prevent sticking, crisp the french toast until sides are golden.
3) Get toppings ready and when bread is done, through them on and dig in! :)
