211014 - Soapbox Thursday - We are all a W.I.P.

Our perceptions, experiences, biases, goals, and filters change over time but also influence our ability to change. Most people want to grow and develop in their own ways as they age. The idea of improvement motivates people especially in our areas of priority. Perfection isn’t obtainable and in lots of cases the goal doesn’t have a finish line BUT we can all be “Works in Progress.” We can satisfy ourselves with the journey of it all. Never focusing on failures unless they’re lessons and never concentration on the process of others unless they inspire you. We can be WIPs…works in progress… looking for advancement towards a better self, a self that is closer to the person we see ourselves as.
