Fitness success and failure rely on consistency. If you make it a point to show up every day, you'll find that few things in your life are more responsive to your attention. Binge-watching Walking Dead doesn't make you a better person. Fixing your mechanics in the deadlift will.
Every day I see success and failures in equal measure. I know when people are showing up and when they aren't. I hear every type of excuse imaginable and they're mostly bullshit.
You can't have success if you make excuses as to why you can't make it in.
If you really want to be better, than you cannot leave yourself a back door. This is your hour. This is the one hour a day you can dedicate to making yourself better.
Leave yourself no other option.
It is a exceedingly rare event that I am not here on time, ready to train you. It's just as rare that I take time off and remove classes from the schedule because I want everyone to have the maximum ability to improve their lives. I leave myself no other option than to be here for you.
I know you're saying to yourself "Well, that's different"
It isn't. I have made a commitment to the health and fitness of each person that walks though the door, and I will not miss it.
You should do the same.
