170612 - Motivation Monday "Work Hard, Stay Humble"

BIG THANKS to everyone that came on the CAMPING TRIP this weekend! CrossFit prepared us well for the heavy burden carry up a never ending steep hill! The views and good company made it all worth it! 

CrossFit is an incredibly humbling experience. We are "forced" to do physical tasks that we don't necessarily WANT to do or CAN do. As adults, we tend to say a big N.O. to physical activities that we aren't capable of. I'm not going to seek out a pick-up game of basketball because I am really really really bad the sport, BUT how else am I ever going to get better!? So when you walk in and see something that you aren't good at or a skill you haven't conquered yet, eat your giant slice of humble pie for the day and just get at it! Take it on as a learning and growing experience! In my four years of doing CrossFit, I've learned new stuff everyday and it's tough to work on those weaknesses but super important!
