200416 - Soapbox Thursday - Plan for the Comeback!

I want you to take some time today to sit down and think about how you are going to get back to normal life once this is all done. As long as the mandate doesn’t move again, we’ve got two weeks to prepare to be successful in the transition back to society. While it’s going to be slow and still different than before, it’s important to consider slowly developing your life around what it will look like in 14 days. Here’s some suggestions on things to consider:

1) Wake up time!
Most of us are sleeping in much later than on a typical day! Consider getting up a little earlier each day so you’re not going straight from a 9am alarm to a 5am one!

2) Meals and Eating schedule!
We’ve been home so everything can be cooked right before ya eat it but if we’re on the run again, we need meal prep! So consider planning out your meals now and if you ever need advice or tips…Coach LoLo would love to help!

3) Workout routine!
For everyone that has been dedicated to the online class schedule, this won’t be too hard. If you’ve been working out whenever it works best for you, considered choosing one time of day to do WOD’s instead so you get use to keeping it consistent then building your schedule around that time!

4) Water!
Just drink more H2O….that never changes.

5) Family plan!
For everyone with kiddos and/or other family members, sit down to have a conversation about what the new “back to work” day might look like for everyone. Childcare for adults and school work for the little ones is going to need to be a part of that chat!

6) Get to sleep!
Staying up late has also been a trend through this! Start setting an earlier bedtime even if it means doing work, watching a movie, or hanging out but get in the bed at a better time! Then slowly get your sleepy head to sleep sooner too!
