210301 - Motivation Monday
A COUPLE OF IMPORTANT THINGS:
1) Sign up for “The Open” today! Here’s the link: https://open.crossfit.com/
2) There’s a light at the end of the tunnel but with the pandemic still going on, we are going to ask that if you’re here before class times, please wait for you class to begin in the entry area and stay out of the gym space. We appreciate your cooperation with this and hope that soon enough we won’t have to worry about these kinds of things!
3) Beer and Burpees is HAPPENING! We will do it outside after the Open 21.2 workout on Saturday, March 20th! Find your team and let’s do this!
4) Nutrition Challenge is complete and tomorrow, we will be announcing the big winners! :)
BUT everyone did such a great job and is winners for finding success in the program and building a healthy relationship with food!
1. Background and history? I moved to Fort Collins a few years ago and absolutely love this town! I’m a vet assistant with a background in music performance (I play the flute, how neat) and love a great many things, including hiking, conversating, and CrossFit!
2. Why CrossFit? CrossFit had made a huge impact on my life. Not only has my physical fitness been the best it’s ever been, but I’ve also found such a unique and supportive community that I actively look forward to seeing in a daily basis.
3. What makes Choice City CrossFit so special? has made such a meaningful impact on my life. The community that I have found through this gym has been such a supportive and caring influence on my life. Not only am I meeting my physical goals, but my soul feels full after every workout.
4. My favorite CrossFit move is handstand push ups! My least favorite move is a tie between a snatch and a overhead squat! Blah!
5. My most memorable workout is definitely Murph! The first time I completed it I remember feeling so proud that I was able to accomplish something so physically challenging!
6. Future goals? I hope to become a human nurse eventually! In the mean time, I’m still getting swoll with my fellow thunderbro, Michael, and also working on being ready to compete in more CrossFit competitions!
