150611 - Thank Goodness It's Almost Friday... | Catalyst, CrossFit
I'm guilty of it too.
When someone asks how I'm doing, I invariably answer, "I'm tired; it's been a long week." If I say that on a Tuesday, the outlook is bleak my friend.
But, I'm committing to not do that anymore.
What I've been doing is approaching each day as a list of things to do, things to be done, or things to worry about. This makes every day a grind. No matter what you're doing. Even if it's something you love. And to top it off, it never gets better that way.
So, I'm changing now. I'm going to (try) to approach every day as a new day. I'll keep in mind the things I have to do, but the focus of the day is to live it with as much vim and vigor as possible.
I challenge you to do that as well. Every time you wake up is a reset button on the world. There are plenty of people who are gunning to make your day as shitty as they can. There are also plenty of people (like the fine folks at CFNFC!) that are going to bring laughter and a bright spot to your day.
Don't be a party pooper like Jennifer.
