Tell us about yourself!
I was born and raised in Indiana, but have lived in Colorado for nearly half of my life at this point. I have multiple degrees, have the privilege of being the in-house massage therapist here at CCCF, and work for an amazing local company.

Why do you Crossfit?
I have never been a serious athlete. I enjoy commuter biking, hikes in the mountains, and recreational sports. When Coach Michael started his CrossFit gym many moons ago, I tried it out and was hooked! I enjoy olympic weightlifting and the all of the functional movements involved in CrossFit. This makes me better at everything in life, from relieving stress to keeping up with my nephews. Rather than competing, my goals include staying strong and fit and avoiding injury. But mostly, I'm here for the high-fives upon completion. There's nothing quite like finishing a difficult WOD with my Fit Fam and just knowing we did it!

What makes Choice City so special?
The coaching is unparalleled. Coach Michael is highly experienced and incredibly knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and mobility, and always makes sure I'm using correct form. I love that, no matter what ailment or injury I'm experiencing, the WODs can easily be modified to meet my current skill level. The entire coaching staff is well-trained, approachable, encouraging, and just a rad group of people. Also, my fellow CCCF athletes. Everyone is so friendly and supportive, and they step up in a heartbeat whenever a member of the FitFam is in need. The community that has developed at CCCF is unlike anything I have ever experienced at any gym. People join CCCF for the workout, but they stay for the camaraderie.
