200608 - Motivation Monday
As some of you may have noticed, Greg Glassman (the founder of CrossFit) has made some poor choices recently in terms of communication on the subject of Black Lives Matter. We do not condone or agree with any of his recent statements. CrossFit HQ has also been slow to condemn his remarks but has recently made a stance of supporting the cause. Some boxes are de-affiliating due to the situation but I wanted to reassure everyone that while I DO NOT believe CrossFit Headquarters and Glassman at all reflect my feelings as an affiliate owner, for now I am going to continue my business as Choice City CrossFit. I have taken my stance as supporter of the movement and want to continue being a safe space for people to build their lifelong fitness, learn from each other, find supportive community relationships, and most of all FEEL LOVED.
