151017 - Make Your Bed.
"I can't seem to get to the gym"
Go to bed at a reasonable hour, set an alarm, don't hit snooze, wake up early, make your bed, put some shorts and a shirt on, drink a cup or mug or tureen of coffee, get behind the wheel and drive to the gym. Warm-up, mobilize, develop specific strength or skill, workout and then get on with your day. Pretty simple.
"I don't have time in the mornings"
We had a 5am class during the summer. A whole whopping 2 people showed up on a regular. You'll stay up until 1am Netflix and Swill (drinking a box of wine), but you won't flip the script and get your ass to bed and get up and get your day started? I call bullshit.
"By the time I get off work, I'm too tired"
I hear you. So do the full classes worth of people we get at 5 and 6pm.
I hear excuses all the time, from just about everyone. Hell, I make excuses all the time.
The way to change it is to change it.
Get up. Make your bed. And get yourself in gear.
