Hey all, the CrossFit Open 16.1 has been published.
Let's look at the workout:
AMRAP 20:
25 ft. overhead walking lunges 95/65
8 bar-facing burpees
25 ft. overhead walking lunges 95/65
8 chest to bar pull-ups
This might seem to the average (or even above average) CrossFit athlete to be a long time and some challenging movements.
This should no dissuade you from coming in to do it though.
We have been upping the overall time for workouts gradually, as well as doing lots of overhead work.
We can do stepping walking lunges at lighter weight, we can put the bar in the front rack position, we can even do KB or dumbbell walking lunges.
Bar-facing burpees, we've done, chest to bar pull-ups can be done jumping.
So, the bottom line is: You can do this.
