It's been 14 years.
This day in 2001 changed millions of people's lives and continues to do so.
If you went into (or in my case back into) the military, thank you for writing that blank check to the people of the United States. This includes you too PMCs and CIA-SOG.
If you were inspired to serve in a LE, Marshal, Fire, EMS capacity, thank you for what you do; it's a tough, often thankless job every damn day.
If you were inspired to help in your community and strengthen ties within, thank you for bringing people together in a time of uncertainty and need. You're the best of us.
If you work with organizations that support veterans, especially those with visible and invisible wounds, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
If you just bang your chest and get all jingoistic about 'Merica and slap "Terrorist Hunting License" stickers on your car or make posts about "Never Forget" and you didn't do a damn thing to change anything, and continue to do nothing except flap your lips-
STFU and GFY.
