Sharing suffering and challenges is at the heart of what we do every day. You do things that the average person wouldn't dream of doing.
Then you laugh and joke about how miserable it was, and how you would make it more miserable if you were programming it. And you come back, day after day, week after week. It's a testament to not only the strength of the community at CFNFC, but to your strength.
For a lot of folks (including myself) this time of year is hard. This Thanksgiving, throw in a little word for your friends and family at CFNFC. There are a lot of terrible things going on in the larger world, but everybody has something going on that is challenging for them. Some folks at CFNFC are having an especially rough 2015. Thanksgiving is a day for thanks, but it's also a day for your fellow human.
In our day of thanks, be thankful for the group of people we have surrounding us for an hour a day. People who are trying to build themselves up right along side you. I know I am.
